just to inform all of you again vegas is hot as hell! if you can plan your trip so that you hit nevada at night time, you will make it. my car almost overheated all 3 times. i had to roll down the windows in 120 degree weather and turn on the heater full blast she started to run a lil better, but be careful. last thing you want is to breakdown in a 120 degree desert.

i went ot vegas with 15 supras doing 120-130 the whole way and one car overheated and thats cuz he had a previous problem and he was racing around like a nut

ive driven my celica everyday during June, July, an August for two hours in and out of mojave desert averaging 90mph each time. Never once had a problem. And mojave during the summer is 110-120. Also drove through New Mexico and Arizona to LA during the same summer. It was so hot i had to put the top up on my car, i couldnt stand it anymore... but my celi could, no problem! Even drove from LA to Vegas during that same summer. Never had an overheat to this day.

ha its obvioulsy that not that hot or no one would ever drive out there! come on now! i mean it will be a smaller meetign place possibly for those that wanna drive to Iowa but why not make this seperate from Iowa

An all celica meet would be phat! An all Toyota meet would be like... Big Bertha!
I'm down, but not summer time, I've made that drive in the heat and it aint fun! Anyways I'd need some traveling companions. I'm in N. Idaho, anyone in Washington wanna head down in a pack?

The lv/az desert is not the safest place to break down in. Alot of meth users preying on people. Ill do the trip as long as I got a couple of people 2 ride with me. Won't do the trip during dead summer though, too rough on the car. I know theres a couple of celicas in Phoenix. I think sexyasiandoll is from here. |

yeah like i said were looking at early fall or late spring.
we dont wanna take away from the supra meet so we dont wanna do it in september. we are looking into sponsors and getting some coverage on it too! hence why we may be thinking to do so-cal! may be a better chance of some coverage and sponsors there Natalie -------------------- Cruisin down the street in my Infiniti...always lookin for my next trip to Sin City

I'm up here in SLC Utah so I can do anything in Vegas and possibly a So-Cal meet, who knows maybe I'll get my local car club to come (including 2 VERY sexy RX-7's)

yeah ive changed that - events are going down in October but school is in full swing ---i dont attend school so i didnt even think about that

If this thing goes down in June thats going to be fun. Also if things go my way ill bring something to the meet no one would be expecting (sorry to tease you guys like that
). Anyway, if getting rooms is an issue, dont worry about it guys i can hook us up a various hotels in the area. Some ON the strip, others just blocks away, or if we wanna avoid that i can set it up either way. Natalie knows my number so i will be in contact with her til then.
