Hey, im going to the meet, but i have lost my license for a year due to a dui. So if anybody from another state wants to fly down here, they can drive my car with me of course

If the timing is right I may be able to get off work/school. I'd drive from Kansas. I turn 21 in early April so this would be a bad ass trip to take with a bunch of friends and see a lot of hot cars. Anyone else from the Mid-west thinking about making the drive?

theres a huge MR2 meet in kansas i forgot the date but yeah other cars are welcomed

Well amy and i are coming down for hte hell of it March 26th Saturday without our cars. I will not be looking to set up a westcoast meet for this year. But i am looking to drive down for SEMA this year and would like to set something up for locals to come hang out :-) including Cali and Nevada and whoever i can get from WA/OR
so whatever that date is for SEMA then id hope to make something happen around that day! -------------------- Cruisin down the street in my Infiniti...always lookin for my next trip to Sin City

ive stayed at the Venetian, ALL of thier rooms are suites and they more than earn their 5 star rating. The place and room are AMAZING! The bathroom was bigger than my room here in Seattle, California King size bed, sleeper couch and love seat. I would stay there again in a second!... if it wasnt so pricey.
Any chance you girls could go a week before? thats when my spring break is and when i would have a possibility to go. -------------------- Its Orville's Celica, i just drive it... |

As for a date i vote on June or after due 2 the fact that some of the members might be in school. Although i know a lot of people were complaining about the heat. just my $.02  Then the hotels you picked out, the Luxor is NICE and not too expensive. But if i had to pick i guess i would stay at the MGM. David |

SEMA is November 1-4th

I'm thinking of making the drive down from Canada for this meet but I was just wondering if you guys think Vegas is really worth visiting if you're under 21?

I was hoping that everyone was going in late May, early June. From what I hear it'll be very crowded(which won't bother me much) and many of the hotel prices will be much higher than normal since SEMA is in town. Just a thought, maybe I'm wrong. Plus in November everyone is back in school.
