Have you guys been seeing these "N/A is Best" stickers around a lot more lately?

I think it's dumb...I mean it was probably started by some company like Spoon or something in Japan with a built N/A Honda, but I think it's getting ridiculous.

The other night I saw some Civic dropped on stock wheels and a neon underglow kit and it had one of these stickers...I asked the kid what he had under the hood and he had a cold air intake and "performance spark plugs" on his stock D16 motor. I asked him why n/a is best and he said because it's JDM. rolleyes.gif

I've also seen them on more and more Hondas around here lately...most of which were ugly and ricey. And it kinda irritates me...these kids probably roll around preaching that N/A is best for all the wrong reasons.

To me it seems like most of the time people put that on their cars so that it can be their excuse for spending money on strobes, neons, and aluminum wings instead of performance parts.[/rant]

Tell me about it... I sometimes have to help these guys with their cars... hopeless cause. Too bad our shop's Civic got stolen and is now in a billion little pieces. Oh well... we did save all of the important stuff...

these people were formerly known as the "im saving for a turbo" crowd

after spending all of their money on lights and body kits, all they had left was enough to buy that sticker.

yea,,, and as for the sticker... Vinyl goes on your house, not your window/bumper/ car in general.

well an NA motor that can make a 10 sec time would be very sweet, compared to a 10 sec turboed. but in the real world where ricers run free, its just down right stupid and i would be imbarest to have it if my car was not full of crazy mods.
