People putting HIDs in halogen heads is precisely why they're illegal. You can get a ticket because its easy to tell that the HID is aftermarket. Like Coomer said theres a cut off on the beam on projectors.
And no, you dont open the housing up you must get the same base bulb as the headlamp requires. For projectors you get an H1 bulb, for the USDM heads youd need a 9006. -------------------- |
