Not exactly a great picture. The front part of the skirt look like its not flush with the car.

As for Doge's post, I respectfully disagree. When I get these things, I want to have them painted and then I want to install them and be done with it. If I have to play around with fiberglass or grinding or live with poor fitment AFTER waiting forever TOO, this is going to go down as the worst buying experience ever. At least if we get some nice pieces that are relatively easy to fit and install, the wait will seem like less of a big deal once they're on and looking good.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

i totally agree with J.
as far as im concerned, they BETTER not ship my these skirts as they are. i dont want them till they fit like they should.
hell, i got my present skirts from AUSTRAILIA within 4months. and they fit perfect.
wish there was a easy way outta this damn thing already. frown.gif

guys, i honestly don't know how many prototypes and time they're going to keep putting into these. I will stress the importance of perfection, but i am guessing this is going to be it (minus the two kinks they noticed).

im not trying to bring hopes down of be rude, they may be more concerned about their customers and perfect them more(taking more months), but i was just basing my guesses on the prices.
10 X $100 side skirts = 1000
where as
10 X 425 hatch = 4250

They will never be perfect you guys... VIS is a CHEAP alternative to the real deals in the market. Anyone that has bought aftermarket bodyparts knows that every car is different no matter how perfect it fits on ONE car; it definately wont fit perfect on another... There will always be need for tweeking to get things "perfect." Its just a million times easier to tweek by taking away than adding... and these skirts will only require some grinding... which you all should be excited about.

Oh yeah... I forget to tell you guys. I called Grant yesterday, and he said that he has to wait two weeks to get the skirts from the wharehouse, and it will take another week to get them shipped out to everyone. So we're looking at 3 weeks just for THESE ones... how long is everyone willing to hold out for a 20 minutes grinding job?

ok.. so while were on this topic still, who else is thinking of molding the skirts??

I work at CC an there was a prelude without the skirts molded, an this is the first set of skirts i have seen up close and got to look at an all.. an the looked like poo.. Soo I was thinking of molding them and making it flush, I also think it would be bad ass.
