Ok John you have to see the originals, they are like some of the best movies ever made!!! BUT as for the new ones (episode 1, 2 and soon to be 3) thats up to you. Basically if you watch the originals and love them then don't hurt yourself by watching the newer ones, they will make you wonder what the hell Goerge Lucas was thinking, just imagine them, that will work better.

The new episodes are a further testament to how new age special effects ruined movies. They have ZERO acting talent, characters you would rather see dead then continue bastardizing the part and a romance that is so fake and forced that you feel sick just watching it.

Maybe Im to hardcore into sci-fi but when I see a movie that could potentially be the last one made in a series or in this case the last 3 it just sucks ass to see them turn out to be crap. Similar to the cheese dick let down of Alien vs Predator, just took away everything those movies were all about.

I want ST: The next Generation back I dont care if they are all old and dying!

yeah, ive never understoond the Boba fett fans. He is as minor of a character as you can get. Even the Ewoks had a bigger part. I understand the Vader or the Han Solo people, because they had major roles and we really got to know who those characters were. But a bounty hunter that is in the movie for three seconds and doenst even have lines?? i dont get it.
