nah, coomer, your not obsessed.

i personally dont park far away, im lazy, but not only does it require less walking, it wastes less time.

as for food, i eat in my car, and my friends are allowed eat little things and have drinks but when something spills, i pull over and have them clean it right away.

my car's paint is not perfect(on scratch through the clear couat on the fended) and small chips here and there but i dont want it to get worse, and when that bitch in the bmw scratched my rear bumber, i scratched both sides of here car(really stands out on black cars)

but what really really pisses me off is mud, which i just let dry and vacuum up(but i do yell at the people who bring it in) and i love how when my mom takes the car out, there are new scratches on it and the tires have been hit on curbs.

my sister also does not car about my car, everytime i pick her up, she throws her 30 poundright on my dash, sometimes making scratches. i would say somethin but then she would tell my mom in a way that would get me in trouble and my mom might get the hammer again! frown.gif

try to park a little closer just to make her happy, even if it is a little closer, it will show that you respect her oppinion(while not giving in 100%)

now if someone vandalizes my car, that's a different story

No, I don't think you're to obsessed. The way I look at it is that it's a matter of respect. If you care that much about your car your girlfriend should respect the way you feel about it. I don't usually let anyone eat or drink in my car. Trust me I feel the same way you do about my car.

sums it up for me. R e s p e c t just a little bit, just a.....

Yeah Coomer, its hard to find a girl that really respects cars the same as you.......but still she should respect your relationship with your car and understand that it means alot to you. And besides, just remind her how much you care about her and love her if things are in the gutter. wink.gif I dunno, im not super picky about my car cuz i paid 3500 for it and its got dents and scratches, and whatever.......i love to eat in my car with friends and chill, as long as i know they arent messy eaters. biggrin.gif Im with Macavely, i try to focus on keeping my car running well more than parking 50 miles from everyone else and not eating in it, but maybe ill regret that one day......and once i get my interior dressed up soon, i think ill be a little more careful about that kinda stuff.
