So on christmas for some reason my pc has acting really messed up and i couldent get my internet explorer to load at all... So being pissed I ended up having to reboot my entire system to get it to work again, or so i thought... Id get this popup message "lexplore has caused an error in MSHTML.DLL , lexplore will now close" and then it would crash... well after rebooting everything i thought it was all good, and i JUST got that message again? WTF is going on? ive never seen that before untill this christmas...

win me is pretty much a bs os.

uninstall IE, and reinstall it, I would not switch to firefox unless you want firefox spacificly, its only gana cause you more problems trying to get it to work (and get use to it) then just fixing IE.

also get spybot (as well as ad-aware) together you'll catch just about everything. (if you know what your doing you could also get "Spyware Blaster" but its a bit more complicated to use)

True its not as good as it use to be, but thats because its so under funded.

never heard of "Giant Antispyware" I'll have to look into it.

The only real reson windows sux is because its so popular, if linux was as popular it would have just as many problems (with incompatability and hackers) everyone says its so secure and windows is not because 95% of all the hackers are targeting windows, all os's have holes its just that the linux are much less attacked.

In my working with both red hat and win 03 server, I found that linux was very unreliable and actualy crashed so bad it was compleaty un recoveralbe (re-format was the only option,) where as my 03 server never faild.

easyest thing you can do would be to upgrade your ram, or get more of it, just pop open the case and look (there just long sticks with black squares on them (next to the cpu) but that would give you a quck and easy boost, but I would recomend a new dell or something.
