as far as turbo upgrades id suggest either the TKO Street brawler (uses a T3/T4) system

The street brawler will not fit a 6th gen as the external wastegate sits too high. I have already checked into this.

the external wastegate sits too high as in it will hit the hood? hhhmm what about those of us with vented hoods right there... say maybe the c one cf hood. how high is too high for the external waste gate?

Dude, look at the picture I posted. You'd have to cut a hole in the hood man

compare it to the placement of the 3sgte in the engine bay of a 6th gen celica, like this one shown here:



engines in our bay sit at an angle- take a look where the manifold attaches- and the angle it's at, and draw a line out for the turbo, then draw another line 45 degrees and up for that huge ass wastegate

i thnk it would clear with a c one hood.... but thats just my opinion

it won't cause the c-one hood at that point is at the stockpoint just get a stock hood and cut it open for the gate situation solved
