i have a family friend who is selling a 1995 integra, 65,000 miles, under $4,000, 2 door, 5-speed, red, original owner, no accidents, it has never been waxed so it needs a paint job, otherwise good condition.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...item=4515680400
or this 94 celica GT, 108,000 miles, 5-speed, $5,000, CAI, shortshifter, 16" wheels

which one should i get?

What kind of integra is it? If its a GS-R then hell yea get it, but if its an LS I would have a hard time choosing. LS has thousands of aftermarket support, but the celica looks better IMO.

ikd what kind of integra, not a GS-R, good mechanical shape, it has been driven by a woman in her 40s
i'm not really interested in aftermarket support, probably just a CAI, short shifter, and rims (celi already has them)

Well if it's not a GS-R then I'd probably bid on that red Celica because it looks clean, but I wouldn't pay $5,000 for it. wink.gif

Id say the integra, just cause u know the owner and condition, but i like the looks and style of the celica better. Also i would never buy a car on e-bay unless i was planning it to be a project car.

Did you ever sell your car or just decide to keep it?

i'd only have the type r,the SI is underpowered,so R or celi.i looked at type r's and it was the insurance that put me off, clear licience,22 years old,1998 integra fully comp,1090 pounds to insure,no,650 pounds for a ss2 celi, thank you.

Wow, first off, grammer is your friend.

An SI is not an Integra trim level. You're thinking of a GS-R. Which is better then SS-II performence wise. Thus, an ITR, consider one of the best fwd cars ever produced, would be the pants off a Celica. I'd even be interested to see skid pad numbers and times of an ITR vs GT4.

And of course the insurance is going to be more. The ITR was peractically built of competetion.

But when it comes to this LS, it's going to be piss slow, slower then a GT celica, so just buy the celica since I favor the celica's design.

Agreed. That Celica is very clean and well done. Nothing ricey or anything at all. Its hard to come across a Celica with clean mods. I'm totally diggin' that short shifter though. The only thing I don't like is that exhaust tip jutting out about an inch out from the rear bumper. $3500 would be a fair price for that car. If you're gonna pay $5000 for that car, might as well go all out, add another $1500 and buy Coomer's 4AGE Celica.

I wouldn't pay more than 5000.00 for any 6th gen Celica unless its got a really nicely done swap or it's in godly condition. The Integra on the other hand... if less than 4000... with 65k miles... can't beat that.

Also... the Integra LS with a good driver is faster than a GT... I'm sorry to say. Pretty much the same weight, more power, better powerband for racing, better tranny and suspension not even mentioning the relentless downpour of aftermarket support... but the Celica is just too damn sexay... >=/ Whatever works for you.

that celica has way too many miles. I would definitely go for the integra. I have a feeling that celica was driven roughly because of the mods it had.

Go with the integra. You can make that car look very nice, like JDM ITR front conversion (Very sexy IMO). And like every said, lots of aftermarket support.

Also with a low mileage B18 you can go a long ways with that.

If your not buying it, ask the seller if they want a celica convrt. Trade +cash on their part biggrin.gif
