Actually I think the stealth is hideous, I much prefer a good 3000GT with the early model headlights (as opposed to the weird eye headlights they had later years)

They look hawt. A lot of people who have other years do a 99 conversion. They also get beaten.

IMO any of the 3KGT's are ugly except for the 3rd Gens - all Stealth's are pretty hideous. With that said - they're fast. My friend had a 93 VR4 and could launch the thing pretty hard and it wouldnt squeal or nothing - took off like a rocket. All-wheel steer is a lil iffy and personally I wouldnt touch a Mitsu but to each his own.

I sure do have respect for it's speed, as it is a DSM(right?)
but the 3K is so much...just nicer.
I'd personally take a lil punch out of my speed to support my looks.

The 3S's are not DSM's. DSM's were made in Normal, IL and include

Mitsubishi Eclipse
Eagle Talon
Plymouth Laser
Dodge Avenger
Chrysler Sebring Coupe

Close cousins include: Mitsubishi Galant VR4 and the 3000GT/Stealths made in Japan

i thought they were considered DSM's since they too were made under the collaboration between Chrysler/Dodge and Mitsu... hence the Diamond (mitsu) Star (Chrysler) Motors name

No, the 3S's are not DSM's. All DSM's were made in the DSM plant in Normal, Ill. All 3S's were assembeled in Mitsubishi 's Nagoya, Japan plant. From the DSM FAQ:  DSM - Diamond Star Motors A joint effort by Mitsubishi (three diamonds) and the Chrysler Corporation (penta-star) to build some of the most incredible automobiles in the world. The (following) vehicles were produced, the Eagle Talon, Mitsubishi Eclipse, and Plymouth Laser. DSM cars (were all) assembled in Normal, Illinois.
