Shid, in on of my off topic post said quote "why can't the atmosphere be pure O2, i hate this planet." And in my mind, one thing came into my head. Has anybody done propane injection into the celica engine (anything, 3s - 5s)?

Do you mean methane? I dunno about propane :/ but someone here has done methane I think..

I think with propane (or pure o2 hehe) you'd just leave a smoking crator.

i've heard people talking about injecting both nitrous and propane at the same time, creating huge huge gains

Maybe I've got it mixed up? :X :?

alright, nevermind, thinking about it, propane actually makes less horsepower than gasoline, it takes to much, and basically doesn't have near as much thermal energy (my dad started college with a nuclear enginnearing) (i also can't spell tonight). Therefore, it would be pointless to inject propane into you car's gasoline driven engine. Diesel engine's on the other hand would compress it to the point of having a thermal energy such as nitrous.

There is a guy down here that runs pure ethanol in an evolucion 3 with a 75shot nitrous kit and does high 10's or low 11's in the 1/4 mile. I think 2 guys down here tried it and some others tried A1 jet fuel with great success. What is the point of injecting any flamable gas? Quantities arent worth it anyway. Ethanol is alot higher octane than gasoline so that makes alot of sense.
