Looks like you can get on the internet, so its probibly not hotmail or something liike that, I'm guessing you have it though your providor, so what is exacly going wrong, wont log on, or cant get to the site? -------------------- ![]() |

QUOTE(hioctane @ Jan 15, 2005 - 11:59 PM) QUOTE(coustoe @ Jan 15, 2005 - 11:54 PM) 1. check your firewall settings on your router how do i do that? see the ip address assigned to it on your subnet, type ipconfig, it should be the ip with the default gateway. type the ip address in your browser, it will ask for login and password, use your user manual to look up the login (default is usually administator), look on the back of your router for a reset button, reset your router or look in manual to reset the password. |

that ip address is your default gateway. you can check it by opening a console by typing cmd in your run box in the start menu (assumin youre running 2000 or above). when you have the DOS screen, type ipconfig/all and see what the number is for your defualt gateway. put that number in your explore bar.
is this the only problem youve noticed after installing this router? a little more info in general would help. |

Or just mention which router you have & then you can be supplied with the default gateway ip & usr/pass for that specific brand...
