Since the topic is around, is the wing bolted on or stuck with the rubber stuff you are referring to?

all wings are bolted

for the 3 post 2 on each side
one in the middle
pull hard after unbolting

then
heat, peel, rub with solvent

nice job jaws4god you should go out and buy some metalic silver to paint the screws you filled in where the holes were.

there are two hard plastic peices that sit in holes, one on each side. i had them when i took my spoiler off. if you dont know what you are talking about then dont start. and to take it off a few posts up had it right... just work it with a screwdriver a little, it will come out with enough elbow grease

I would say get a lil bondo, and then fill in, sand down nice and smooth, then get some touch up paint.

Thank You for the comments smile.gif I actually had removed my aluminum wing because it was denting my trunk. I took it to a shop where they reformed the trunk and fixed the holes. I then added a Shogun Z style wing where the stock wing was.

dont you need a backing or something if you want to fill the holes with bondo.. I would think that if you clam your trunk the bondo would start to crack.

I wanted a tall one so that i could see under it in my rear view mirror. The stock one got on my nerves because it looked like a car was behind me whenever i looked.
