I live in an area that floods a lot...

And lately the rivers have been running high or flooding.

Me and my best friend were sitting at a park eatin pizza today watching the river cuz it was real high and about to flood. And for some reason, we were sittng on a table in the park, eating pizza, only mere feet away from a rising river. But anyways...

This is the most flooded I've seen the park. The entire little feild that was near the river was one big pond. This gave me and my friend an idea.

See, we have ths tiny lil' raft that barely fits two people. And we named it the Groove Train for some strange reason and decorated it with 60's logos... Like hearts, Peace signs, 60's sayings...

Anyways... We got the idea to take the Groove Train (the raft) out into this flooded feild that was basically a mini lake. So we run to my house. Go up in my attic, find the Groove Train, and run to the park and blow it up to take into the the flooded park.

Oh and just so ya know... There was no way we could get swepted away in the flood current. The flooded feild was closed off. Between the river and the feild is a fence. So we were blocked off from any current. So we weren't doing anything too stupid, even tho it was stupid to take a teeny tiny raft out into a flooded pond, on a rainy day in the middle of winter. But what the hell! It only floods basically once a year! Might as well! biggrin.gif You would havta see the situation to do it....

So once we got the Groove Train all blown up, I was the first to launch out into the flooded feild. I was oaring all over that park! IT WAS HELLA FUN!!!! biggrin.gif

It was sooo funny too! Cuz people who were driven by the park, would actually stop their vehicles and rolling down their windows to get a look at this! Some would take pictures and some people even shouted at me in the middle of the flooded field. They were all shouting stuff like "YEAH!" or "WOOOOOOOO!"

This one guy even walked up to us and said to me and my friend
"That's the funiest thing I ever seen... How can you think up something like this?"

He and his family stayed a bit watching the river and being entertained by me and my friend out in the middle of this flod in a tiny lil' raft.

It was sooooooooooooooooooooo much fun tho! biggrin.gif

It may sound like the dumbest thing ever, but you would havta try it and see it to see how fun it is, and how funny looking it is! biggrin.gif

Good times tho... Good times...
