If there was a suspension part, like strut mounts, that were made for a ST202 would they work on a ST204? Are the struts and suspension different in these two vehicles? This is the difference in the chassis code:

ST204----FWD - 5S-FE (USDM GT / Canadian GT-S)

ST202----FWD - 3S-GE / 3S-FE without AWS (JDM SS-I, SS-II, and SS-III)

I believe it matters because the SSII and III have the SuperStrut (SS) suspension.

Ok, but if i change the whole suspension by getting Tein Super Street coil-overs and then after market strut mounts, i would just need to know if the actualy strut mount position is different. Like where the three bolts would go, whether they are in the same place and if the strut mounts sit on the strut a different way.

Super Struts are completely different and are not interchangeable with MacPhearson struts. The steering rack, tiebar, arms, etc, are all different. That being said, if you are getting Tein Coil overs, be sure you're getting them for the MacPhearson strut version of the Celicas. The pillow mounts might be slightly different between the Super Strut and MacPhearson also... but typically when you get a complete dampner set-up, camber adjustable topmounts are included. The top mount studs should however be in the same place... but the perches and bearings may be different.

Yea i figured that all of that stuff would be different. The Tein coil-overs i am getting do fit on my car. And your right top mounts ususally do come with these complete setups, the only problem is that Tein does not make them for our car, nor does Tanabe or anyone else i looked at. CyberAutoSales found a listing for my car, the ST202 though. I figured the mounting studs would be the same, but i need to know if they sit on it differently. Anyone know where i can go to get some diagrams of these parts??????

Yes Tein does make a full suspension setup, the Super Street Coil-overs are the only models available for our cars. BUT, Tein does NOT make pillowball strut mounts for our cars, i am 100000000% positive! The only pillowball strut mounts i found were for an ST202, i dont know if that makes a difference seeing that i have a ST204. Does anyone know if these parts from a 7th gen would fit? or maybe a different toyota vehicle? I was hoping i could just get the ones for the ST202, i even called Toyota and they can't tell me if they would fit for "legal purposes".
