Well after 1 month of going to all kinds of shops to find out why my engine was buring oil to about 1qt every 2 weeks or so.Even after changing the oil every 2 weeks as well. My engine finally **** the bed. I was on the highway and half way to where I was going my car wouldnt accelorate. So being not stupid I immeditaly pull over to the break-down lane, and shut off the car. Well after I etting it sit for a second. I tried to start it back up and no go. But straight to the point now. My bearings are done.

Alright, my meechanic found a 7afe for $900 70k miles. Then he wants $100 for extra's(bolts, etc..). And then another $750 for labor. He said it would take roughly 14 hours to finish it. Which includes taking the dead engine out of the car. Is that tjhe right price or is he screwing me over?

That engine price he is screwing you over, you can get a used 7a for $200 or so. There was a guy on here selling his 7a for $150 out of ohio, it had 75k on it.
