when mine got hit i got bumper, rear quarter panel hatch painted. then a few months later a no touch car wash did a thousand dollars worth of damage so i got the passenger door and rear quarter panel painted again. So basically half the car is repainted :-P
you called police? I didnt call police for mine! i exchanged info and left. I dont see any reason to call police unless they are refusing to give you information or your stuck in ur car. or someone is hurt -------------------- Cruisin down the street in my Infiniti...always lookin for my next trip to Sin City

Punch: Take it to a shop that charges up the arse. Take a quote to her Insurance and have them cut you a check for that amount. Then have your hook up get you some bomb prices.

you should call the police when its not your fault
some people will exchange info then later on change thier story. I had a case where this lady hit me , she admited it was her fault gave me her ins info , then when she gets home her husban calls me with some BS about its not her fault, long story ,but I got my car fixed by her insurance after some fighting trough my insurance, my agent told me I should of got a police report and things would of went smoother. thumbs up on calling the cops |

insurance company needs the police report before they cut the check!

Theres no need to call 911 at all, in fact thats terrible. But you must call the police and have a proper report filled out, it has definately covered my ass a couple of times, if you look on the back of alot of insurance cards it even says "if you have an accident, call the police immediately." Sure we'd all like to think that other people are as good and reasonable as we are, but its not always the case, cover your ass.
