i generally dont like abusing the car but i "raced" an altima ..he was infront of me first and second gear i was playing catchup when it hit third ....he took like a car ...then it was a saturn..third ...fell behind again...

well pointless story for a boring day redface.gif smile.gif

heh it was like a 97 and the saturn a 99 ....let me just add this here ..not to add another thread...under the hood it says change engine oil every 6 months under severe conditions...this seems a little...well extremme how often do you guys change the oil?

HAHA, I change my oil every 2500 miles.. or every three months.. otherwise it feels slugish and slow.. wel it is, but u know what i mean.

Also altimas are pretty quick, my buddie had one awhile ago. There stock with 150hp.. I would say its a somewhat even match cause there extra weight.

well i havent had my car for that long but i plan on doin the same ive already put around 3000 miles on it frown.gif oh well my engine isnt in "good" condition either so yea...but really year for an oil change is wierd

Yes they're slower - kid I knew with a 95? 96? Altima had exhaust and intake and for some reason, it was fast on the top end.

I change my oil every 3000 w/ synthetic mobile 1, it's good stuff, it seems to make my car run smoother.

The Saturn, if it's an SC2, only puts out about 125hp... but then again they're a lot lighter with all that plastic, so it might be about even.

My mom has a 98 SC2 and it feels very slow compared to my Celica though.

yea man i noticed those cars are like mostly plastic or whatever it is .. we got screwed on the US with the celis! we should've gotten like 200hp with these cars frown.gif lol i think they were like in the 30k new right?
