I raced an Xtreme today and barely beat it. I thought this was pretty good considering I could here that he had an open exhaust and intake. And also considering the fact that I had 3 of my buddies in the car with me. Just wondering what people thought about these trucks.

Street racing will always be a bad idea. Not because its dangerous to you, cuz frankly IMO you can do w/e you want with your body and your property, but because it endangers other drivers lives.

I'm plenty guilty of doin it on several occassions, but its either because i'm prevoked (and have a short temper) and I gotta show someone who thinks they're soemthin their not (fast) but above all you gotta know when its too risky to do it, or its just plain too stupid to do it.

Is it REAL racing, no but probably 2% of drivers are real racers. The point is, be a sensible (as much as possible while racing) driver. I think alot of ppl's pride is at stake when they race and quitting isnt an option but you gotta know that theres a point where you need to stop.

I was wondering how long it would be before someone said something like this. I'm suprised it took as long as it did.

Cool, thanks for the info

I'm am always willing to learn anything about any car that I can. As for the whole street racing thing, I would have to take back my previous statement of "I will race anyone any time." I only race when I know the road and I can clearly see that there's nothing infront of me. There is a way to race safely, or at least safer on the street. Especially when I'm just racing a GT celica, and stopping at the quarter or before, there's not to much in hitting to high a speeds. If you do it, you have to be really careful and don't try to pull that F&F crap in and out of traffic, that is stupid.

guys, i think street racing is lame too, but usually the kind of street racing that people say causes accidents is not really street racing its like cat and mouse driving of swerving and passing, i dont pull that ****, the most i do is punch it at a stoplight or what not and that seems like what this guy did.

just fyi a lot of "street racing" accidents are classified that because it was a group of teenagers going really fast with a friend or two
