How easy would it be to transplant a 3SGTE engine into a Supra, what would have to be done (In general terms).

Also would the lighter engine (3SGTE), really provide a better performance all round than the supras original engine?

Just interested? rolleyes.gif

In my opinion, it would be more cost effective to get yourself a front and rear cut of an ST205 and do the AWD conversion.

Because there would probably be a lot of frame re-adjustments in the engine bay to go from a 3.0 Liter inline 6 to a 2.0 Liter inline 4.

So Would you say it is a relatively easy engine transplant, or are there hella difficulties?

Also what would the 3SGTE engine need bhp wise to keep up with the current stats of the original Twin Turbo engine, if you get me?

I am very interested in this, so any help, information would be appreciated.

Im presuming the engine is from the MR2 Turbo (3SGTE) is this correct?

evolve, 3s-gte comes from a 6th gen gt-4. the 3s from Mr2 is from 5th gen.

Twin Turbo setup - It's not all about Twin Turbo. If you're a Supra owner you'll know why. Most MK4 supra owners want to go single turbo.
