all jobs like that are like that, when I worked at fred meyer I stood up to my manegers and even the store director (highest person in the store) and once they saw that I was serious they left me alone and realized I was right, I never got "wrote up" or suspended/fired.
My opinion is in that situation you did exacly what I would have done, sept I would never have gone to work, and called corparate saying there forcing you to go to work sick putting the staff, and coustomers at risk of getting it as well, basicly telling them to shove it, and try and fire me. You should get a new job as soon as posible, nothing is worth the crap that jobs like that put you though. This post has been edited by creis: Feb 14, 2005 - 8:09 AM -------------------- ![]() |

I just thought of something that happend to my uncle that I thought was worth sharing. My uncles wife now/girl friend then, was working at Wendies, and she had a manager that was a real pain in the butt. She made her work over all the time and treated her like crap. One day my uncle comes in to pick her up from work and the boss says, "No, you have to work over." Apparently this had happend one too many times because my uncle just really mad. He later comes back, and takes a sledge hammer to her car almost distroying it. Now, the funny part of this is, when the woman found out about the damage to her car, she called the police on her x-husband. Then got a restraining order put up against him. My uncle got away with the hole thing. I feel kinda bad for the ladies husband though. lol
