Yea well my dad can beat up your dad! lol j/k
For me it was just easier I didnt have to mess with washers, and grinding the ball down. Besides I like the look of my stock shifter better. |

The 7th gen is about $10 more, BUT you dont have to grind down the balls a lil and take another trip to the hardware store. But the lancer/evo comes with a nice chrome ball.. |
