will they be giving away the headers for free?
 just asking.. but hey... someone should go for it man..... it's is an opportunity for us to know if we'll be able to get quality headers for our ride.

They didn't say anything about it being free. But it'd still be a free dyno run for your car and the oppertunity to help out the Celica community. That, I think, makes it more than worth it.

what were the mods done to it? Probably just something minor like an intake and exhuast

well..... hope someone around the area would go check them out and test the header. i mean they wouldn't give away the headers for free. just that they would help you install the headers and dyno it, get the results and return your car the way it was when you brought it to them right?

I live on the other side of the country, but please, someone volinteer for this. You might get it for free. Even if you don't, it'd be worth it.

Alright, I got info back from the guy today. He said the header would be $300 instead of $450. And they would install and pay for the dyno. Isn't there someone who will do this? Is there anyway we (at this site) can do something to help perswade this? Like some people going in together to help buy this header for who ever volinteers? Someone said that they'd be in for paying for a dyno test. If we can't buy the header for the volinteer, we can at least help.

i might be in if they can offer me something to help my 5sfte project. Email them and well see what they have to say. I wouldnt mind having my celica dynoed as it is n e way . But keep in mind mine is a cali celi so its got less h/p stock duno if it would affect it as the header probably would bypass all that?

Try finding someone near to Hotshot on Celicatech -- they've got a huge fifth-gen presence (lots of 5SFEs). I'd volunteer, but it's a bit of a drive from Canada.

i live in southern california... and i dont know where hotshots is... in LA?
but i have a 1997 celica - all stock - ... if the ofer is still up, ( to test the headers) i would like to do it... -darryll |
