I want to know is the clutchs in the 5s tranny and the 3s tranny are the same or different.

Different. if your using a 3sgte motor with 5s tranny u need the 3s presure plate and flywheel with 5s disc.

^^yup, if ur engine(swapped or modified) is a lot more powerful than stock, u'd want a clutch system that can grip much better.

Well the 5s disc is necessary to fit on the spline. You could do what Lagos did and have Spec custom make a 3s disc which has an enlarged center to accompany the 5s tranny.

thats good to know casue I am garthering info for my swap I am going to do so if I can't get the tranny I want and have to use a 5s tranny if I could use this clu=tch kit I got for free from a friend
