OK so my Driver's side door lock seems to be pretty much fubar'ed. It is electric locks, but the problem is that the lock is mangled on the inside and the key will no longer turn it to unlock it... I know, annoying. Every time I want to get into the car I have to walk around to the passsenger's side to unlock the doors with the key, and then walk back over to the driver's side. This is getting to be a huge pain in the ass, not to mention I look like a retard! I was wondering if there is a keyless entry for these cars I could use (preferably OEM, or a good aftermarket alarm) to just bypass the use of the key altogether. The doorlock itself still works electronically, just the damn key hole is f'ed. Did these ever come with an OEM stock keyless entry/alarm system? I know my 5th gen Celica had a Clifford alarm system installed factory, but this one doesn't have one. Anyone have any ideas? Cheaper is better...unless it does something more than just lock my car! |
