Alright - I have been looking at pictures of liftbacks - well one and its hard to see the back - and normal GT hatchbacks - What is the differences of the looks between the
two?? I know this is a stupid question but i cannot find it.. What are the visual differences between the GT hatchback and the Liftback - in other words do they look the same or not? does anyone have any good pictures of a liftback? i havent been able to find one!! thanks for your guy's time nObOdy |

Hatchback rear comes straight down. Similar to the new Civic Si, and like the CRX and the VW GTI and Rabbit. Liftbacks have a lil more body near the end like the Celicas and the Integras and RSX's.

For the 6gc, the hatchback is equivalent to a liftback (the terminology is interchangable) but it differs to the coupe.

I understand that you didn't say there was. However, the original question assumed that there was and was asking what the difference was on OUR CARS. Thats why we don't need to argue about what a "liftback" and "hatchback" is in general in this thread. It suffices just to say "they are the same thing". Hatch back
 lift back....  what is the difference? there is a test... put your knee on the back bumper and open the trunk..
