I am about to mount some fog lights on my 97 bumper. At the position where I want to mount them, however, the bumper cover curls under the metal bar. Do I need to take off the bumper or can I just drill through the bumper cover to the metal? Anybody got shots of how you mounted your aftermarket fogs?
Your help is appreciated. Thanks, TJ |

I'd take off the bumper. Otherwise, you'll have a hard time drilling into the metal crash-reinforcement bar. But yes, you can drill through the bumper material if you wish. It's really soft to drill through.

i left it on, and drilled through both.. It was kinda a pain to aline the holes right and all, also doing it upside down, but it worked..
