These are really cheap, which weirds me out. But these are projectors. Is there anything against me pulling the projector assembly out of these and putting them into my current headlights like others have done with more expensive projector sets? |

Well, I know the wiring is different, that's easy to get around. And, if I open up those and just take the projector piece out, they're not too big. I'm not saying I'm going to put square headlights on a Celica, just going to take the little projector assembly out.

Does anyone know where I can get clear lenses made? Does anyone here supply them? Do you know how much you paid for your lenses?

Like LewFX said- you get what you pay for. That "projector" is just two pieces of metal with the lens at the end. Same as putting a concave piece of glass in front of the bulb in a reflector housing.......not going to do a thing.

Hm, what about purchasing one of those halo ring kits and putting them in the headlamp assembly to make a custom halo projector ?

Yeah, I figured there was something fishy about those projectors, I just didn't know what it was. Thanks for clarifying the difference between those and quality projectors. My other question still stands though,
Does anyone know where I can get clear lenses made? |
