I might go down to seattle and just walk around and see whats up as I am against this war. Wont see me holding any signs but might as well go down there and support the fact we shouldnt be there but more importantly support the troops and make it known they need to come home.

Anyone ever gone to a protest?

I will not be protesting this war, as my friend gave his life for something that he believed in, which is so much more than any of you hippy protesters are gonna prove by holding a protest. Maybe you should have a hippy jam fest for peace (southpark), as that will be just as effective.

But i really think u should think before you type. I dont support the war in IRAQ did i support it in Afghanistan? YES! anyways im not trying to insult anyone just asked if someone has been to a protest! and a protest doesnt mean its hippies singing songs.

I don't think he was insulting. They just had that funny South Park on Weds night, so that might be where he is coming from.

I live in a damn republican hotbed so there aren't any protests, but I'm against the pointless, expensive war. I swear there's those stupid support our troop ribbons on every car I see here. Republican Rice.

I thought the Iraqi has been going on for about a year now. We have been at war in the middle east for over 2 years.

saying you support the troops but not the war is just another statement created by liberals who want to sugar-coat their choices.

lets not call it pro-abortion, lets call it pro-choice, because pro-abortion sounds bad!

do you honestly not see the difference between supporting the troops and supporting the war? there is a clear difference between the two, are you just trying to be funny or what?

you cannot support the troops and be against the war. from dictionary.com:
To aid the cause, policy, or interests of: supported her in her election campaign.
What you are basically doing is going up to a garbage man and saying "did you know what you are doing is wrong? but go ahead, i support you"

by saying you do not support their cause you are kicking them in the face. its pretty simple. in fact most troops i know or have heard speak would get offended if you told them that you supported them but not the war.
