[SIZE=1][FONT=Arial] For anybody who has done this?? is it possible to do a 7th gen to 6th gen conversion of the sun roof, so that instead of the stock fold back of the 6th gen where it tucks in the space within the roof, to the 7th gen style where, whn it slides back to stay on top of the roof instead of inside of the roof. just wanted to know cause i totalled a 7th gen and the sun roof is still in work order. can it work and if so, can it fit!

anything can work and fit with enough $$ thrown at it...but why you'd do it is another question entirely..

"Moon" roof slides into the car like your saying. "Sun" roof slides out of the car like you want. I am pretty sure that the 6th gen came with either option. I have no proof except that i have seen pics with it both ways. You would be better off finding a 6th gen with a sun roof instead of a 7th gen swap........wiring and fitment would be so much easier.
