I got a pair of the Invader side skirts from XxAxnCelica95xX a couple weeks ago and tried fitting them on my car today. When I tried to put them on, I noticed that the holes for the screws on the side skirts didn't match up with any of the existing screw holes on the car. Also, there was a pretty noticeable gap between the fender and the side skirt near the front tire. Am I supposed to drill holes to match up with the side skirt's holes? Also, how do I take care of the gap?

You gotta drill into the metal on your car ^_^ if you can remove the plastic footliner board thing (where the door opens and closes) and put the screws there. and about the gap, I have no idea :-/

yah ive seen those sideskirts personally. those "holes that wont align right" arent suppose to be there. so dont worry about them. the guy who installed the kit on axn's ride drilled a crackload of holes on the kit that he didnt need to (i should know i fixed axn's front bumper for him). anyway if i remember correctly axn's sideskirts already had two holes drilled on the back and a hole on the front. just drill straight thru the metal on your car and bolt the sideskirt on. oh and just tuck the inside part of the sideskirt under the plastic door panel (u may have to trim a little for it to fit perfect). thats it... have fun

the invader side skirts are not the easiest to put on. like what the rest of the guys said, you have to drill to the sheet metal. and in most cases....don't use the pre-drilled holes, they might be near the edge of the body kit panel that you are working on. also, molding the side skirts will be the best look! but not the easiest way maintaining of the skirts. i got my thur VIS, and i had to cut the fiberglass door insert. without cutting the door insert, everytime; i closed the door, the skirt would move alittle. i cut it out so when i got the paint job, the fiberglass door insert could not cause "spider-webbing" on the paint.
thank you for your time and post(s)! -usdm_at200 |

vader sides are one of the hardest compared to blitz sides. Basically any sides that flare up require some sort of extra install. You can use some self tapping screws and make sure its bolted onto the car or double sided tape depending how bad the fitment is. If you need more help just PM me I'll walk you through the steps
