you know that blue tinted mirror glass like a bmw's and vw's well i was wondering why can't the celi have it to cuz they look pimp. anoyne know of a place that can custom make the blue glass for the mirrors??

u talking about the sides and the rear view, that automatically tint blue at night?

i think because the tinting material is like mega bucks because i havent seen any of them much outside the higher class cars

some info. The blue tint on the mirrors on the 99-02 MKIV VWs is a UV coating on the glass. I searched the vortex (VW) to see if there is a tint or film you could put on your existing mirrors and got nada.

Any one who has 03+ and late 02s (normal mirrors) and wants the tinted they just buy the 99-02 tinted mirrors and replace. Sometimes the tint becomes distorted or curroded because of bad heating elements and the glass is just replaced.

that's all I got.

I actually like if u guys check it out are the already tinted glass on the mercedes's its liek a light blue almost clear tint but it sooo awesome...but again i have searched and found nothing

yeah our lexus lx470 has a button that u can turn the tint on or off.

that sounds like an accident waiting to happen. and no the BMW didn't help me get ne.. she dind't care about the care in fact she was perturbed I didn't drive the Celica cuz she loves it... So thus I'm driving it to prom for her school tomorow
