Why does everyone have gr-2's on their car with lowering springs if the gr2's are oem replacements? I don't get it, why replace the shocks if theyre the same as stock? the ride quality would be the exact same, wouldn't it?

why does everyone think it's essential to have gr-2's with lowering springs if theyre the same as oem??

KYB's are a little ber then stock .. and if u place them side by side.. u can notice the diffrenect ot the 2 inserts... and alot of people do it cause the price and quality of the kybs is hard to beat ...

also - a lot of people have cars that are coming up or are over 10 years old, the old ones get worn out.

basically if your shock are blown use KYBs for replacements but if not there is really no need to get them unless you have money.
