My buddy had the sweetest Nova in the world, until he totaled it. But the good news is that both he and the engine were ok, so we decided to take the engine out and put it in his camaro! We've been working on it on and off for about a month now, and just a few days ago finally droped the bad boy into the engine bay. This engine when in the nova got close to 400 hp, but we've done a lot to it since including: high rise intake manifold, holly double pumper carb, new hooker headers, k&n intake filter, new gaskets and head covers, and more. Its going to run sooo nice! I can't wait until we finally start it up.

Here are some pics from right after the drop (they suck b/c they were taken with my phone). If you guys want, ill get some better pics.

Today all I did for about 8 hours was work on this car. We started the day by going to NPD, a local store that specializes in muscle car parts. We bought new radiator/transmission lines, a kit to convert the linkage of his old 2-speed powerglide to a 3-speed turbo 350 , valve cover gaskets, and some oter random odds and ends.

Anyways, we got soo much done. We finished:
put on the headers,
did all the electical (like 6 wires, i love old car wiring, haha),
bolted down the carb,
got in spark plugs,
hooked up the starter and cranked it over and timed it,
got the distibuter all done,
put on the valve covers,
installed the double pumper fuel line,
figured out the throttle.

Now left to do is:
Radiator and all its lines,
power steering lines,
transmission linkage,
drive shaft,
fuel pump,
h2o pressure sensor,
exhaust.

We might get it started within the next few days. It looks sooooo sick rigth now, I'll take some pictures, maybe a video when we are all done. : ) : ) : ) : ) : )
