Could the 240 actually been an older 200? Or even a Honda Accord hach? These cars all have a similar look to them. And I would believe much more that you could handle those.

Who would want to swap a 7AFE for a 5SFE, it's just as easy to throw a 3SGTE in it. Ask easternpiro1 if a 7AFE can outrun a 240SX, he's got an intake and exhaust and still got his a** handed to him by a Civic 4 door. The 240SX is a lot slower than the numbers say but a 7AFE still couldn't hold up, s*** the 5SFE has a hard enough time. To know for sure what engine you have does it sit straight up or lean towards the windshield?

QUOTE(Consynx @ Apr 27, 2005 - 12:17 PM) maybe out the factory...what about after 10 years of driving? 1/4 mile times that people pull off websites are not accurate, every car is different if not cared for. ie. my buddy bought a Acura GS-R from some old guy w/ 150K on it. Ran it at the track and on his 2nd run hit a 15.6, which i believe is the car and driver time for it. where as i believe eclipse GSXs were low 14's when they came out, but now most expect low 15's when they get it. turbo GSX's run 14.9 stock. 3 people i no have them and 14.8 was the lowest they ever got and 14.9 was average. |

The KA24 is a very old design and people that are familier with imports have a little trouble with them, they're not too bad though.

My mistake I thought you were talking about the 240SX motor, i've heard the 944 had a crap motor and for a Porsche they're pretty slow.

It is the slowest porsche on the market and if you ask anybody that has one they are not reliable by any means. & a pain to work on. Found this, only goes back to 1990 Midterm Reliability Ratings (1-3 years) definition Mechanical Reliability 2/5 Body and Interior Reliability 2/5 JD Power rating* Date Posted 08/10/2003 Interesting car by JOE SMITH Style: 2 Dr S2 Convertible Review: I have owned the car for more than 3 years. Very nice - but be prepared to TAKE CARE OF THE CAR. This is not a Honda Civic that only needs an oil change. It will need new belts every 30K and extras to make sure she stays in top running condition --from edmunds.com thats why i said its not a good car....not a well built car. Now I do like the 911s This post has been edited by chucho: Apr 27, 2005 - 10:16 PM |

I give, if it's not a Toyota, espesially not a Celica, almost everyone on here hates it.
