im starting a turbo project and i just bought a IHI turbo from a 88 t-bird turbo coup. I just wanted to know if any one hooke it up and know what line goes where in the turbo. I know where the oil return, and the oil feed lines go. i think this turbo was water cooled too but i dont know if i have to run those lines through it or can i just use the oil lines

ok that was dumb, i talked to some people and they said that water cooled/oil cooled turbos use colant to cool it down and oil just to lubricare the moving parts.
I know how to hook up the oil lines, but i never herd any thing about hooking up water lines. where would i tap into them? would i just tap into the one that goes into the throttle body? |

the rubber just T into the rubber hoses coming from the oil cooler. You'll probably want to tap in as close to where the turbo will be as possible.
