okay im installing my springs, theres a brown peice of rubber on top of the springs, is this something i need to keep on or remove?

leave it...its rubber so the coils dont "clack" together over bumps

Do you gotta compress the front or rear springs when you put them on?

I was able to press the top strut mounts down with my hands and put the nut back on up top. Make sure you have the strut mounts lined up correctly though with the little "arrow" pointing out i think.

okay one more thing i knocked the strut over and spilled the liquid out inside. where can i get more of that...its all over my pants

lightweight oil... Just put some thinner engine oil back in with the new struts
