Why would you want to paint the airbag covers? You can't get them to look smooth or anything, and they'd just look out of place if you painted them.

I would have to agree with Coomer on painting of the cover.
But on a side note, everytime someone gets into a wreck with their 6gc, the airbags go off and the pass side one does nothing except smashes the windshield (causing more $$ in damage). I would like to be able to "turn off" my pass side air bag or just disable it completely. I read something that Coomer wrote a while back about the wiring for the pass airbag being deep into the dash and difficult to get to...is there a way ? I know it is a dangerous thing for no pass side airbag and it's not legal, but, for informational purposes is there a way ??? ![]() -------------------- |

IMO painting the interior is a bad idea altogether.
Yes 94's had passenger airbags. This post has been edited by Supersprynt: May 13, 2005 - 7:50 AM -------------------- |

Then when you get in a wreck you can get solid sharp fragments shot into your skull? -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

If you sand down the vinyl a bit and paint correctly there is no need for bondo.
