anyone here with ground control coilovers that bought the bearing kit from evilspeed??
if so does it work? tired of hearing the clonk everytime i turn the wheel thanx alex |

I used zip ties to secure the springs to the top perch and no more popping. you might give it a shot

That's what I did as well. I also made sure the tops were all lubricated.
One think you might also want to check is to make sure that everything is in place. Ex. the shock rod sits into your upper mount a certain way. It's got a "groove or slot" that it HAS to fit back into position. That could be another cause of the popping you're hearing. Luckly I had a friend that has some extra plastic "bearing kit" from his Aerospeed Coilovers, greased them up and used that on the tops and bottoms of the spring. No popping at all once I did that. |
