i was bored and i started to think..

can you hook up a linear actuator to your e-brake (parking break) cable.

so when you take the key out the ebrakes are automatically applied?

the hardest part would be to find the best location to mount that actuator, the rest is just playing with relays. One thing you would have to make sure is that the system doesn't fail and lets the e-brake go, or worst, engages while ur driving. sounds interesting tho, it would be nice to get rid of that big hand brake handle.
