I was just wondering what everyone thinks is a reasonable ground clearance for winter, I was thinking 5 inches or so is enough since some new cars are coming from the factory with a stock ride height of less than 5 inches...
I figure the ground clearance on our cars (or mine at least) is about 6.3 inches, and my car will be a little lower than 5 inches when I lower it, I just want to make sure I'm not plowing snow this winter with new springs -------------------- ![]() |

i have 15" gt wheels and a sporlines with kyb's and the celi does great .. never got stuck once.. well cept for this one time when i went to turn around in my yard and it was 12" of snow... I dont think MD gets as much snow as you, but i think you'll be fine.. worst comes to worst.. keep the stocks an put them back on when winter roles around.
