Dilemma - Help out :P, Celica or MR2 ? Read on Options

Hello,
I own a Celica '95 automatic with the 3S-FE engine (it's a JDM car).
Now the car needs a paintjob and it was estimated 2,000 pounds (!!).
I got the Celi for 3,800 pounds and bought 17" rims for it (any ideas if they'll fit the MR2 , I'll get a pair of different tires for the rear tho).

I also own an MR2 '92 manual with the 3S-GE engine dyno'ed @ 200hp.
I have to sell one of these cars so what would you do?
I really love the MR2 but it's 13 years old and needs serious repairing (in terms of paintjob, has a scratched and faded dashboard, broken A/C vents and it seems that it has some problems with the engine lately, it seems to be "lagging" I didn't have time to look into it thoroughly tho).

What would you do ? :\
I know it's wiser to spend money on the MR2 since it's a better car than the Celica automatic but still...It needs a butt load of repair
