Hi all
I'm having a problem and wondered if any of you would be able to give me an idea of what it could be. when accelerating I get a distinct clunking noise from the right front of the car. I have jacked it up and when facing the wheel if you put your right hand at 3 O'clock and push towards the back of the car the whole assembly moves about 3mm toward the back of the car. no other movement is present. I'm guessing it might be the ball joints? but am not that mechanicaly minded. Any ideas would be gratefully received. It's easter and everything is booked solid so I can't get it into the shop. I'm supposed to be going away but am wondering wether it would be safe to do so. Cheers Fred Happy Easter to you all |
