Well untill she came around i would be fine not hearing from him but now im like freaking out in my head...i think about all the "what if...."

it sucks :-( yeah he works at an import shop as a lead tech with nissans so i mean he cant really talk during the day. I mean everynight he texts me when he gets home and I never ask him to do that..I do when i see him and he drives home from my place cuz its a long drive and hes usually driving late but he texts me when he gets home at like 2am from a car meet about an hour away from his house..so i mean we talk several times a day but i dont know im just insecure (can u tell?)

i just dont wanna drive him away...so i need to take a step back

nat-

Give the guy a break. Just because he's friends with some other girls, doesn't mean anything.

I'm sure he's just fine— if you have no reason to mistrust him, don't. Sometimes me and my woman don't talk for a few days at a time (she lives 8 hrs away during the summer.) Last summer, I went on a backapacking trip, and we didn't talk for 3 weeks (no phones in the mountains of northern NM.)

If you are seriously considering a long term relationship with this guy, you have some work to do. If you get nervous about 5 hrs without a phone call, will you be able to trust him for longer periods which are inevitible.

Relax. Give him a break. I've had "clingy" gf's before, and I'll tell you, the only thing it accomplishes is driving me away (which makes them more clingy, which makes me farther away, which makes more clingy, ad infinitum...)

No offense, but is sounds like if you want to keep a hold of him, you'll have to learn to relax your grip a little.

Good luck.
