For years ive always loved the 96 sc400 from lexus. I duno if it wasnt for the turbo project i might trade my celi for one.

Have you driven a 400? They are boats. For the 10-15k you'll pay for a good one, I'd rather have a older Porsche 968 or 928. Faster, cooler, better handling, and FAR more potential.

the SC is tuned to be a luxury car from the factory. drive one that has been mod. it's a whole different story. a Porsche is made to be a sports car first. plus the maintainance on a Porsche is high

Isn't it next to impossible to find those things in a 5spd? Or is that an issue for you?

ive thought about trading for an sc300 many times. Its true that its near impossible to find in a 5spd, but there is always a tranny swap.

They are impeccable vehicles. almost bought a 300 twice, but backed down once because of insurance, and the second time because of it being an auto...
