I am trying to decide on a front bumper. I am more than likely getting the cf c-one type hood. I've liked the zyclone front ever since I saw the c-one kit a few years back. I also like the andy's combat kit front and the veilside replicas except the big flare on the sides of the bottom part. I've seen that it is two parts how would it look with out the bottom part? Any help is great thanks.

without bottom, it looks horrible. If u like the vielside repica and not the bottom, i suggest the blitz style. zyclone or replica C-one looks the best but u have two options cut saftey bar or take it off. gt4 is always an option. Doesnt' really say wut year u got but u always have option of a nice lip like mine.

I really like the Combat kit myself...I'd go with that one over the Veilside-replica.

It's a 94. What do you mean by cut or remove safety bar? The blitz kit is ok but the big chunks on the side are to much for my taste. Isn't the zyclone the name of the c-one replica?( I'm probably just tired! ) I've thought of just doing the lip but I had an unfortunate encounter with a stop sign on an icy day and put a small crease in my stocker. I also plan on putting a vent in the nose like the gt4 and have seen it done on the veilside type and I really like that. I like how the VS flows perfectly into the groove in the fender. I don't like how the combat looks layered on the side, I've seen it blended and thats an option, but I'm alway's tearing her apart so that might be out. I've also seen a VS where the sides don't swoop out so much (I think it was itchy's old kit). Thanks and keep the advise coming!

behind your bumper there is a saftey bar that would protect your radiator and engine in the case of an accident. the zyclone bumper will not fit with that saftey bar. so, there a few people who have modified it to make it fit -- i just removed it all together. i would personally go with the zyclone (c-one) bumper, but if not you should get the combat -- it was my second choice. smile.gif

Modify = cut down?

yep. i couldn't find the post but there was one opened up about how to make the safety bar fit underneath the bumper. it was up about two or three months ago.

baisically you will need to cut down the corners because the c-one (zyclone) bumper does not stick out as much as the stock bumper (and other body kits). i think that it would be pretty simple, even though i didn't bother to do it. i believe it's just a proces if getting the cutter and cutting. my issue was that i don't know how much support your safety bar is actually going to give you if you cut it down anyway confused.gif

but it's still the best kit for the celi in my opinion! wink.gif

ive always been a big fan of the combat front. But i always here bad storeis about fitment with it. So i think if you have the time/money to get it to fit right, then go with that. If not, go with the zyclone.
