I dont know...I got that panel repaired for 375 bucks. but then again my dad is friends with the owner of the shop and my dent wasn't quite as bad. So just get an estimate or two and go from there.

yeah, I agree on old people...shouldn't drive.

Yup, its gonna be right around $3500. An old white guy hit mine in the exact same area. My brother worked at a collision center at that time and they gave me a qoute of about $3300. The quarterpanel is always expensive.

hopefully it didnt mess up anything under the quarter panal, i would make sure you take off the plastic on the interior of your car and make sure your speakers and stuff are fine. That is proberly gonna cost alot of money.

Seriously, old people need to be made to take a driving test like every 6 months. Some of them are just SO ridiculous. I get so pissed when some old lady cuts me off. I always want to just lay on the horn, swerve around them or just flip them off. But I know they probably wouldn't notice anyway... rolleyes.gif

Either that or maybe they'd have a heart-attack and die. biggrin.gif

It wasn't an old person, it was those damn street racers, lol. It's hard to pull a license from an old person seeing as how a great majority of decisions are made by old people, I mean if you were old are you going to say old people are the cause, no that'll include you as a problem also, so blame it on young peoples inexperience or on those dang nabbit street racers.

oh man you guys have no idea about horrible drivers until you live in my town.

Ok here's the situation: college town, the majority population of course is college students age 18-25, then like the second biggest population group is people like over 70. On top of that pretty much the highest speed limit in town is about 30 miles per hour, and the damn highway slows down to 50 outside of town (even though there's nothing near it, they just like slow limites here)

You all can just imagein the rest of the situation: slow old drivers, stupid college drivers, and more door dings and parking lot accidents than you will ever want to know about

IDK Charlotte has like 10 colleges and Universities, not to mention one of the largest populations of people over 50, also one of the largest populations of non-english speaking illegal aliens (for a state this far north), a very large population of drunk drivers, and more learn at home truckers than any east coast city i've been to (and that's Orlando to Philidelphia), but yet those street racers cause all the problems here wink.gif . As for the dent don't worry it'll buff out...just use some polishing compound, j/k you might have worse damage than you think, i'd pull the plastic panel off the inside to make sure it didn't damage the skeleton of the chassis, if it did your car is as good as totalled because it's a pain to get that fixed.
