Eventhough I crashed my car two days before the event, I still went to Topeka for the nationwide MR2 / Celica meet a couple weeks back (in a rented Ford Taurus, no less). It was a great event and I met lots of cool guys with some crazy set-ups. My personal favorite was a MKI MR2 with a 20v 4age that had been turbo'd and the guy claimed to boost all the way up to 25psi on stock internals. It was a BEAUTIFUL car and install. I don't know the total figures but I would guess there were about 200 cars there. There were about 20 ST185's and ST165s. No 6th gens or other non-oem-3sgte applications though. I think my car would have gathered some attention and I was pretty bummed about not being able to drag or autocross it. Toyota corporate was there with several vehicles including a 500hp 3sgte powered 7th gen. I have a ton of pictures I will try to find some time to upload.
