When we are talking about spending (throwing away) money.. I just got a call from the company who had my order for the Veilside bodykit.. After more than 3 months (I think it's more like 4 now) they have canceled my order, and I'm getting a complete refund.
That means, no Veilside kit for me.. Those were the only guys so far I have found in Norway that could get the real thing from Japan. This also means I got 1/4 of the money for a Supra I also have a bit left on my loan (used to buy the Celica in the first place). I might just keep the Celi stock and save everything I got for the Supra.. What would you guys do? Spend on the Celi, or save for the Supra? If I decide to go for the Supra I won't get back any money spent on the Celica anyway (JDM tails and low/highs, bodykits etc), so that would be wasted money if I'm not keeping the car.. *sigh* decisions... (I'm home and can upload pictures of the shoes in another hour though) -------------------- |

IMO, don't get the Supra if you can't comfortably pay for it.. I'd start with minor mods to the Celica, see how you feel about that. If you decide to stick with it, you've already got the basic stuff out of the way. If you don't, it's not a big loss.

What does that mean? I don't have enough money in my pocket right now to pay for the car.. That doesn't mean I can't pay for it.. Also, if you read my post I'm talking about in a year or two. So if I save some money in the next two years I can buy one without problems.. How is that not comfortably? And if I'm not gonna keep the Celica, every mod I pay for would be cash out the window when I turn around to sell it. If I save money for a Supra and decides to keep the Celica after 1-2 years, then I can just use my saved up money and buy lots of mods.. Anyway, I was asking for opinions, and this was yours. So thanks -------------------- |
